REGULATIONS
1. ORGANIZER : WORLD VOVINAM FEDERATION (WVVF).
2. HOSTED BY : VIETNAM VOVINAM FEDERATION.
SUPPORTED BY : MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM,
VIETNAM OLYMPIC COMMITTEE.
3. DATE: : 21st November – 1st December, 2023
4. VENUE: : Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
5. VISA: : All participation countries are asked to contact the nearest Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate for necessary paperwork and begin proceeding two month prior to departure at the latest. The Organization Committee will send necessary document upon request such as an invitation letter.
Information for the documentation must be provided without delay. Each country is also asked to pay attention to the validity of passport for each delegation member (It must be valid until the date of re-entry into each country).6. ELIGIBILITY: The Member Federations/Associations of WVVF.
CATEGORIES: 44 sets of medal.
Quyen performance: 26 sets of medal.
Male categories: 15 sets of medal
- Single form: 07 sets of medal
- Team form: 08 sets of medal
Female categories: 11 sets of medal
- Single form: 05 sets of medal
- Team form: 06 sets of medal
Fighting competition: 18 sets of medal.
Male categories: 11 sets of medal.
1. Over 51 kg to 54 kg
2. Over 54 kg to 57 kg
3. Over 57 kg to 60 kg
4. Over 60 kg to 64 kg
5. Over 64 kg to 68 kg
6. Over 68 kg to 72 kg
7. Over 72 kg to 77 kg
8. Over 77 kg to 82 kg
9. Over 82 kg to 87 kg
10. Over 87 kg to 92 kg
11. Over 92 kg (not exceed 120 kg).
Female categories: 07 sets of medal.
1. Over 48 kg to 51 kg
2. Over 51 kg to 54 kg
3. Over 54 kg to 57 kg
4. Over 57 kg to 60 kg
5. Over 60 kg to 63 kg
6. Over 63 kg to 66 kg.
7. Over 66 kg (not exceed 80 kg).
Note: Each match has 3 rounds, 2 minutes per round and 1 minute rest between
rounds.
8. COMPETITORS REQUIREMENTS:
8.1. Competitor’s age:
There is no age limit for performance’s competitors.
Fighting’s competitors must be at least 17 year old.
Note: For competitors under 17 year old, the second entry must be countersigned by parent guardian.
8.2. Competitor’s nationality:
Competitor must hold the same nationality of their National Federation/Association. Competitors are required to show his/her passport during the nationality control procedure, in order to confirm their nationality.
9. REGISTRATION:
9.1 Each Federation/Association may enter ONE (1) competitor or team in each category.
9.2 Limitation: Each Federation/Association can only apply:
– NOT exceed 4/7 single form and 5/8 team form of male performance categories.
– NOT exceed 3/5 single form and 4/6 team form of female performance categories.
– NOT exceed 6/11 male fighting categories and 4/7 female fighting categories.
